Will you be a Hero?

Today I’m beginning something I never thought I’d have to do: sharing my story publicly in hopes of finding a living kidney donor.

I’ve spent most of my life trying to show up for the people I love. Asking for help — especially help this big — is not easy. But I’m choosing hope. I’m choosing honesty. And I’m choosing to believe that someone out there might feel a tug on their heart when they read this.

My transplanted kidney, the one my Aunt Theresa gave me in 2003, has reached the end of its life after 21 incredible years. Dialysis keeps me going, but it can’t give me the future I’m fighting for.

So this is the start of my search. This is me choosing to live. This is me asking for help.

If you feel called to learn more, ask questions, or explore becoming a donor, I’d be grateful to connect.
